A good debate this time! Much better with the direct and indirect discipline of the tighter constraints. The moderator was terrific-- both in terms of style and substance (tough questions for each).
I'd say a draw or maybe a slight edge to Trump in terms of the debate itself. Biden was solid throughout until seeming to fade a bit at the end. Both had their smirks and interruptions; I didn't see any clear advantage in terms of style.
In terms of substance, the most annoying things to me were, again: 1.) Biden wanting it both ways on Covid and the economy; and then 2.) Biden's incoherent claim that his Green efforts will create tons of jobs (with the implication that it would somehow be good for the economy).
Politically, a clear advantage to Trump who had more to gain-- and more important, in repeatedly pointing to particular states and demographics where Biden's arguments/record are painful and where Trump needs to win to get a second term.
