School choice has been around for a long time, but what do the terms of vouchers, tax credits, and education savings plans mean? How can we give parents more control over their children's education while ensuring students are not stuck in failing schools? Elizabeth Grace Matthew joins me to talk about the fundamentals of school choice and the need to expand these options to those most need it: students with economically disadvantaged schools.
We also talk about how school choice is a bipartisan issue, with solid support from both Democrats and Republicans, and she shares a personal story about sending her kids to a parochial school in Philadelphia during the pandemic.
