On the topic of food in this nation, if I could be so bold, I'd recommend to you Shawn Stevenson's book, Eat Smarter. I'm maybe halfway through it now, but it's full of really good insights into the complexities of the human body with regard to nutrition that you definitely won't find in the mainstream. I think I mentioned his podcast a couple of years ago when we last chatted.
On another note, Dr. Larson is definitely not wrong about fixing healthcare and, at least, in part blaming PBMs. I know it's been a while since we talked, but I still work for Capital Rx, which is a PBM that's a disrupter in that market, trying to improve costs by way of full transparency. That's definitely not a plug, I'm just saying that part resonated with me and not something I hear much outside of work.
