Bigotry isn't a difference of opinion
Bigotry isn't a difference of opinion. Any form of racism, antisemitism or hatred of another person because of their identity is sin, and a person can't "agree to disagree" with wickedness.
Christ calls us to a radical position: reject the hierarchies of this world and embrace love instead, practiced by looking inward and rooting out the evil in our own hearts instead of finding comfort in contempt.
Pride builds hierarchies of who’s above and who’s below. Love dismantles them by placing everyone at the foot of the cross, equally in need of grace.
This is for you and me, not just them.
